Journal for the sake of update

Usually my opinion is that journals shouldn't be written unless there is something you like to say. That was until I noticed that it has been over 6 months since last journal entry. So here goes journal for the sake of update.

Things have happened but not kind I like to write publicly about. For example my wife spent several days in hospital because of blood clot in lung (pulmonary embolism) in December. Luckily it was only a minor one but in many cases those can be killers. I turned 40 in march and for a first time ever got some kind of age crisis. My wife and I are better now Lately I haven't painted at all. My four week summer leave will start next week. I'm planning on painting but we shall see. On computer I've been mostly playing Diablo III and Hearthstone. D3 really sparked after ad-on and I love it again. Also got Watch dogs for PS4 ... looks and feels nice ... have to play it a bit more before can say anything more.

Also I got my beard bleached (by my little sister who just graduated to become hairdresser). Plan was to get it all white ... but because beard is so coarse and I have quite dark hair to begin with, it became more like light yellow ... like easter chick. Also didn't dare to take another treatment because skin started to feel quite awful already. Plan anyway was to color it purple (plum). Took a coloring treatment at home and for everyone's surprise next day my whole beard was really really pink and looked like I have cotton candy in my face. It would have been great success if that would have been intended ... color was really vibrant. But I wanted darker purple and wouldn't dare to go work looking like gnome from World of Warcraft. On panic I went to store to buy some more haircolors. Little girl's face in store was priceless when shae was staring my "Princess-beard" with open mouth. So I took two more coloring sessions that day. Color became good bit darker, but still was too bright for work. So in panic I shaved most of my beard off and only left healty amount on my chin. I guess it is okay now. Atleast I got few compliments about it.

Yesterday spent a day in Helsinki with wife. We saw Edge of Tomorrow and new X-men in cinema and dined out in italian restaurant. It was nice. Edge of Tomorrow was really good and X-men wasn't bad either ... somehow still feel that First Class had best atmosphere of all Marvel movies.

Also yesterday made a mistake and checked out these wacky new curved 4k TVs. A huge mistake. Now have real fever to get one of those. Good thing they are quite expensive so won't be ordering one right away.

As you can see ... life keeps going on and nothing much happens. Just the way I like it Be well all.
